GameFly lists Terraria for Wii U and 3DS

505 Games appears to be bringing Terraria to Nintendo platforms, based on GameFly listings. The retailer has Terraria listed for both Wii U and 3DS.
GameFly lists an October 31 release date for both versions. However, this is likely a placeholder.
Terraria was once thought to be out of the question for Wii U and 3DS. I wonder what changed!
Se for verdada, day 1 :D

Terraria heading to Wii U and 3DS in early 2016, playable at Gamescom

“505 Games! When will you bring Terraria to the Wii U and 3DS?” We get asked this question a lot, and we’re super stoked to finally answer. Terraria will launch in early 2016 for the Wii U and 3DS! The savviest of Terrarians may have picked up on some hints leading up to today, and the teams at both Re-Logic and 505 Games are excited to finally share details.

Both the 3DS and Wii U versions will feature intuitive touchscreen controls, allowing Terrarians to reach directly into the world for the very first time to fashion elaborate structures and fight off enemies with fingertip & stylus control.

Take your adventures to new heights with local and online multiplayer, allowing 4-8 players to journey together into fantastical new worlds. The 3DS version offers local WiFi play supported for up to 4 friends, while the Wii U takes that even further, with up to 8-player online multiplayer or 4-player splitscreen using classic Wii Remotes.

More details:

– Additional control options on New 3DS to take advantage of the extra buttons
– The team is trying to include as much content as possible
– Dual screen setup will be used to its fullest
– So far everything up to version 1.2 is in
– Not all of the 1.3 content will be ready for launch
– The game will be receiving future updates
– Won’t have stereoscopic 3D
– Touching to build and dig isn’t compulsory
– “Wii U will take its cues from the existing console versions, but obviously takes full advantage of touch and the second screen”
– No Download Play; each player needs a copy of the game
– Wii U version has Miiverse, but no voice chat currently
– For multiplayer on Wii U, you can split the displays, meaning the first player has all of the GamePad screen and the other players split the TV screen
– 3DS is four-player ad hoc
– Use the second screen for inventory and accessory management, housing management, map usage, etc.
– CodeGlue is handling the 3DS version
– Engine Software is on the Wii U version
– Looking into what will happen with the Plumber and Hero Outfits in terms of coloring
– There will be constant updates like the other version
– “first post launch updates are already specced out”

Se já não tivesse umas centenas de horas no PC e no telemóvel até investia nisto, mas já me passou a febre.

Grande jogo!

Pelo menos estes fizeram uma boa adaptação ao gamepad ao contrário do Minecraft.

- one player can play on the TV and another can play on the GamePad screen at the same time
- allows for 4-player local and 8-player online
- have four players in one family join four players from another family in the same online world
- original Wii Remote supported in split screen
- content parity with the other console versions, which is at version 1.2.4
- this includes everything up to fishing
